Over a period of time we have evolved into a design consultancy that specializes in publication and editorial forms of design. Herald
The redesign of Herald required extensive research and best design practices to create a new design template, typographic system and unique identity for each section. Furthermore a ‘Design Guide’ was created to help designers at Herald to create dynamic designs within the new template. The project included Herald annual and special issues as well.

Aao Parhao
The Aao Parhao campaign was part of a combined initiative by Ilm Ideas and The Express Group to celebrate teachers and encourage younger people to become teachers. We designed the editorial part of the campaign that included multiple stories and special supplements to shed light on the state of affairs of primary education across Pakistan.

ADA
Complete template, typography and layout design of Pakistan’s leading architecture, design and art magazine. The aim was to create a design that was at par with top international publications.

The Department of Visual Studies
Prospectus for the department was designed by keeping its low resources and environmental impact in mind. The whole booklet and packaging was designed in one colour and used recycled paper.

Communication Drawings
Perhaps the only book that serves as a course book for art and design institutes across Pakistan;NajiAkber’s Communication Drawings is a massive book that required more than 1000 illustrations in 21 chapters spread over almost 400 pages. All designed and produced in one colour to make it environment friendly and affordable for students.

IVS Prospectus
The prospectus for the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture presented a challenge of putting information about varied disciplines into an organized whole. The design made use of colour coding to organize content, vector based conceptual designs to signify different departments and showcased student projects to promote the quality of work produced.
